The 2021-22 NBA regular season is finally over. While most of the attention will turn to play after the season is over, there are still some prizes to hand out. Just as there will be endless debate about Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid for the All-NBA first team (at least for those who chose not to put two spots on their first team), the fights on Twitter over this year’s MVP race may never be over.
This could end up being the closest vote ever. You can’t go wrong with Tab Jokic, Embiid, or Giannis Antetokounmpo as the best player in the game. I take Jokic. As you’ll see below, most of my colleagues at CBS do as well.
In addition to Player of the Year, we voted for Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, Most Improved Player, Coach of the Year and CEO of the Year. Read ’em and cry (and ease up on our signals).
