No Man’s Sky It increases in size with the next expansion, Localized Outlaws. This free update promises to introduce players to the criminal underworld of the game by focusing heavily on activities such as smuggling and pirate raids when it goes live today.

As mentioned in the video below, Outlaws turns to willing residents No Man’s Sky to the rebels, allowing them to carry out illegal missions in space stations filled with dangerous criminals. Both spaceships equipped with a solar sail (the game’s first new ships in over two years) and upgraded space battles will help players achieve these goals, which can obviously earn some huge rewards if they survive.

The full patch notes can be found for the update On the official websiteHere’s a summary of key points from the developers at Hello Games themselves:

outlaw stations

Outlaws have taken over space stations across the galaxy. Outlaw systems are dangerous, lawless places with frequent conflict (but all this presents an opportunity for players looking to raid passing spaceships…)

A new series of missions leads players towards pockets of rebellion, where they will find an underworld that offers missions to pirates, black market technology, and a chance to obtain illegal valuables elsewhere in the galaxy. Like-minded players can get a fake passport that allows them to bypass the authorities.

solar vehicle

With its unique solar powered sail and elegant hull, this is the boat of choice for those looking for interstellar speed. solar ship No Man’s SkyFirst new spacecraft since the start of 2020. There is a huge variety across this group of ships, so look forward to searching the galaxy for the perfect version to fit your current fleet. The maximum number of ships a player can own has been raised from six to nine, so you don’t have to worry about limiting your fleet either.

smuggling

Illegal goods can be bought in outlaw regimes and smuggled for a huge profit. The life of a smuggler is dangerous. The guards are looking for smuggled goods, and the discovery is only a distant freight probe…

Take stock

All players – not just smugglers – will benefit from having specialized merchandise inventories added to all spacecraft. These high-capacity slots can store large amounts of cargo, and storage-hungry players can unlock additional slots from the Ship Upgrade Station located in all space stations.

swarms

Players can now recruit and upgrade their wing pilots. Gather your perfect group of ships and pilots. Each pilot comes with their own abilities, and can be upgraded over time to improve combat ability.

space battle

Space combat is overhauled for speed and excitement. Handling has been improved, weapons have new visual effects and enemy spaceships now have armor. Depth has also been added to the weapon selection with a variety of specialized secondary effects, such as slowing down enemy engines or disabling shield systems. Ship-to-ship combat can now happen within the planet’s atmosphere as well – and your settlements may be raided by pirates. For those who find Space Combat difficult, accessibility to flight has been greatly improved with the new auto-follow mode.

No Man’s Sky It was recently awarded “Evolution Game” at the BAFTA British Academy of Games Awards, and it’s easy to see why. The work that Hello Games continues to do on the project is amazing, especially considering differences That both led to the game’s release and overshadowed it well after launch.

I’ll go out on a limb and say No Man’s Sky a little very It’s complicated now for me personally – I rather enjoyed the meditative state it first came in – but it’s clear that players are finally getting what they want out of the game all those years ago.
