If you celebrate it, Happy Easter! If not, we hope you at least have a nice and long weekend, or maybe you’ll relax more than usual. Whatever it is you do, we hope video games come into your plans. This week, we got a new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, which introduces us to protagonist Shez. Nintendo had to change automatic renewals online after a government review. And Bandai Namco appears to be remaking the title of the Nintendo movement.

While we’re here, why not go and vote for what you think is the best generation of Nintendo consoles! Some of us have had our say, and now it’s your turn to tell us who’s right or wrong.

Now is the time to relax and Discuss our weekend game plans. a few mEmber from the Nintendo Life team has done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then join yours via our comments section. Enjoy!

The list of games I want to play this weekend is Long. As I mentioned earlier in the week, I have Dragon Quest VIII ready and waiting to plunge into it. I also received Xenoblade Chronicles X – I want to download the enhanced texture pack from the Wii U eShop before it’s gone! I have another cleaning service to do on the Wii U as well. I’m going to move the external hard drive to a much larger SSD I have, although that includes storing everything that’s already securely elsewhere before formatting the Wii U, which will take some time. Also, I don’t have a home internet at the moment, which complicates things when I want to download a whole bunch of GBs.

What I’ll probably do is download the little Nintendo Switch Online update and dive into Mario Golf. It’s one of my favorite N64 games, an incredibly relaxing sports game with character. It’s a shame I won’t be able to play as GBC Mario Golf, but I’ll be enjoying a quick 9-hole round sometime over the weekend. You have a good legacy!

Aside from a mini review, I probably devote most of the time to the triangle strategy on the Switch; It’s a long game! I’ve enjoyed it so much so far, and it’s perfect for 30 minute sessions to do battle or just follow the story.

in another place My attention is split between LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and MLB The Show 22, which definitely got me hooked again.

Kirby, Kirby and more Kirby. My Switch choices are getting a bit slim, so after I beat Kirby and the Forgotten Land, I think I’ll move on to my second game, Kirby. A few weeks ago, two great readers – Munchlax and YoshiFlutterJump – made some great suggestions about which Kirby game I should play after Forgotten Land. And after thinking about it, I’m going to give Kirby Superstar a whirl! Oh, which reminds me – you absolutely should vote for SNES in Nintendo’s Best Generation Poll. do it.

In fact, this weekend feels like PS5 heavy duty. I play this little game called Final Fantasy XIV – you know, the one with a free trial up to level 60? (No, I’m not sorry.) Latest major story correction Endwalker Dropped on Tuesday, and my word, the new coalition raid is amazing. You are almost done with all the mechanics. approx. Aside from the games, I’ll also try to get out to the beach this weekend. Hope it’s sunny where you are too!

With everyone celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in the US, I thought it was time to give the game another shot. It’s been a long time since I last played, and it’s funny that this will be my first time playing on SNES (technically on Switch); I’ve only played it on GBA before, and it would be weird not to hear Link yell “hyah!” Every time he swings his sword.

Otherwise, it will be a quiet time for me this weekend in terms of games; My wife and I are celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary on the 16th so it wouldn’t look really good if you spent the whole time glued to the game!

It’s Easter this weekend, but my COVID test will tell if I’m hanging out with the family or… I stay inside playing video games. We just got Xbox Series X, which means ELDEN RIIIING, but we also need to finish Skyward Sword (which continues to work) and I’d like to get into something farm, like My Time At Portia, or something killer, like AI: Somnium Files. If only there was something cultivating and fighting!

Great eShop week with 2 games that took their time to get here but don’t disappoint: Formula Retro Racing and Bush Hockey League! While talking about the topic of waiting, Nobody Saves the World proved to be another hit at Drinkbox Studios!

Game of the Week is kind of a cheat this time around since there are hundreds of them: the A500 Mini has arrived and put it under the TV. That version of me you know today has a lot to do with Commodore Amiga: the digital artist who started chopping things up in Premium Paint III. The sound producer that started to cause noise pollution in ProTracker. And of course, the greatest Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe player in the known universe. Ice cream, shout out!

As usual, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
