WhatsApp is changing the way the platform handles media sent via chats with messages disappearing enabled, according to reports. WABetaInfo.
Whatsapp feature

From now on, WhatsApp will no longer automatically save photos and other visual media to your iPhone’s photo library if they appear in a chat thread triggered by disappearing messages. The “Save to Camera Roll” option is now automatically turned off for disappearing chats, which means that photos, videos, and GIFs won’t be saved even if the global auto-save setting is enabled.

The previous default for saving photos from disappearing chats in the Photos app was a contradiction due to privacy focus on disappearing messages, so the change is likely to be welcomed by those who rely on the feature to share sensitive media.

Having said that, WhatsApp users can still manually save the media that appears in the disappearance of the chats they received, or even take a screenshot of the chat thread, so what you send using the feature can still be saved by the recipient after the message is finished. disappear.
whatsapp media messages are no longer saved

In another change coming to WhatsApp and highlighted by WABetaInfothe drawing interface is tweaked so that the blur tool appears at the bottom of the screen, where it will sit alongside two new drawing styluses.

The change to the way WhatsApp handles media in disappearing messages is now rolling out to all users on iOS, but it’s not clear when the graphic interface tweaks will come out of beta and be made available to the chat platform’s broader user base.
